The Law Enforcement Explorer Post 5204 is located inside the train station at 14th
street Union Square. You can take the 4, 5, 6, L, N, Q, R or W train to 14th street Union Square.
The Explorers Program is branched with the Boy Scouts of America and the
NYPD. Many other Law Enforcment agencies are involved with the Explorers Program besides the NYPD such as US Customs, Corrections,
FBI, MTA and many others.
This Program is open to all youth from the age of 14 - 21. Law Enforcement Exploring opens many oppurtunites to the youth of NYC. As
an NYPD Law Enforcement Explorer you will be educated in many feilds from Hostage Negotiation to Bomb Threat Response and
Marine Drills. Twice a year we have local competitions in these feilds and once every two years we have a National Law
Enforcement Conference.
